DJ’s New Years Eve- The Pilot Pub- Chiswick 31.12.2002 |
vinyllondon were involved in putting on their first party at
the Pilot pub on NYE 2002/3. With help from the Full Tilt boys,
DJ Funkydog and the Funkwit laid on a night full of great tunes.
The party, a private affair for staff of The Pilot’s sister
pubs began with a feast of classic 7’s dropped by the Funkwit,
leading into his stylish mashup of old and new 7’s and 12’s
from Northern soul to Techno.
Around two, DJ Funkydog took over, dropping bootlegs and classics
from 2002 including “Two months off “ by Underworld
and the classic Royksopp remix of Felix da Housekatt’s “What
does it feel like” featuring Miss. Kittin. DJ Star took
over for a couple of hours playing some funky tribal House, before
Funkydog dropped a few classic feelgood tunes at the end of the
night.
The party was enjoyed by all and we look forward to the next
event that vinyllondon gets involved in.
